As you are well aware by now, we have been working with NetSet Communications over the past 2 ½ years to bring the best possible Wireless Internet service to the Interlake area. For close to 75% of our subscribers the transition from the legacy platform to new licensed 4G service provided by NetSet has been accomplished with excellent results and dramatic improvements in speed and reliability. You may be hoping to get the improved service as well and have not been able to because of your remote location or distance from a NetSet equipped service tower.  Let me assure you that NetSet is continuing to do as much as is feasibly possible to bring service to every corner of the Province and with today’s announcement there will be an even greater incentive to do just that in the Interlake area.

The Lakesidebroadband customer base has diminished to a point where it is no longer feasible to operate as an independent Internet Service Provider. To continue to bring service to you we are happy to announce an ownership change in Lakesidebroadband Inc.  In keeping with our commitment to excellence in internet service and partnership with NetSet, the new owner is the principal shareholder in NetSet Communications. This will allow NetSet Communications to provide management, customer service, and a smooth upgrade path to those still on the LSBB legacy platform.

Just to be clear, there is no immediate change planned for your current service other than a concentrated focus on getting as many subscribers as possible upgraded to the new network. Until you get an upgrade, or are notified otherwise, you continue to be a valued Lakesidebroadband subscriber with some enhanced services being part of the NetSet member community. You may continue to use the familiar phone number 1-888-663-9046 Ext 0 and Ext 1 for billing questions and technical support.

Thanks again for your support over the past ten years. We continue operating in the community in our Lakesidedigital Computer Service Centres in Gimli and Arborg, and NetSet Communications dealer.
